About the artist...
A native of Florida,
Linda Denison has been
painting since age 6.
Linda first sold her work
at age 12. During her
teens, she broadened her
talents to include custom
paintings for interior
decorators and experimenting
with pottery. Her undergrad
work included interior
design and commercial
art. This lead Linda to
work as a designer for
6 years at which time
she had a passion to experiment
with mixed media to discover
her own expressive niche.
Linda’s work has been compared
to Matisse, among other notables. After
more than 30 years, Linda’s variety
of styles continue to evolve but are
uniquely hers and give credit to her
versatility. A master of many mediums,
Linda’s work also boasts a wide
range of subject matter. Among her archives
are her whimsical women. Most recently,
dimensional still lifes, nudes, tropicals
and collage’ also grace her canvases.
She has an ever-evolving body
of work.
As a mixed media artist, she includes
a unusual blend of patterns and textures,
hand made papers, watercolors, acrylics,
inks, and pastels. Her work is
vibrant, alive and full of color. She
is forever exploring new ways to achieve
desired results.
Linda finds her greatest challenges
when creating extraordinary paintings
to complement her exceptional, colorful,
eye pleasing, interior design work.
She welcomes commissions and consults.
Travel and a permanent move to the North
Georgia mountains, Linda forever
seeks new horizons to enrich her creativity. Today,
Linda’s greatest source of inspiration
remains her very spiritual and personal
relationship with God.
A multiple award winner, Linda is proud
to be included in private and corporate
collections as well as galleries throughout
the Untied States and Europe.
Collectors and art enthusiasts are among
her many patrons. It has been said of
Linda, “Life is an experiment,
the more you experiment the better."
